The Story

MEGASORB is a mid-term absorbable braided and coated synthetic suture made of Polyglycolic acid. It degrades by hydrolysis and provides predictable and reliable absorption.

MEGASORB suture is coated with a mixture of Caprolactone and Calcium Stearate. It is dyed violet with an FDA-approved colour additive.
