- Pump and gravity administration sets: The BD SmartSite™ Needle-free Connector has the same proximal and distal connectors as the BD Alaris™ Pump module and gravity administration set Y-ports, enabling standardisation.
- Straight fluid pathway: The straight fluid pathway provides laminar flow and easy flushing.
- Closed system delivery: The BD SmartSite™ Needle-free Connector pairs with the Texium™ closed male luer to form a leak-free closed system drug transfer device (CSTD) to deliver hazardous drugs.
